At Crossing Wellness, we operate from a space of safety and trust, where each practitioner can remain authentically themselves, celebrating the diversity they bring; however that looks. You will maintain your own practice in a way that is aligned with your values, this means that you will be in control. You will choose your days, your hours, and the fee structure you wish to use. You may use a sliding fee scale as you see fit, take as much vacation as you like, and more.
While operating with this independence, you will also be a part of a team. We have weekly peer supervision sessions and maintain a work app that allows us to have more immediate support from one another should the need arise. We make space for genuine connection, enjoy each other, and build real relationships.
Compassion is our guiding principle, both in how we show up for each other and our clients. We believe that mental health can be pathologizing and actively work to take a holistic and wellness-based approach rather than emphasizing pathology.
As we center the importance of our collaborative work, we are also mindful that we are still a business. We openly acknowledge when personal needs & boundaries conflict with business needs or boundaries and work through that together with everyone’s best interest at heart. We do our best to respect the autonomy and freedom of the practitioner with the needs of the clients & business. We allow as much freedom as is possible while still functioning as an organization.
How does this look in terms of income? We believe that our payment structure is one of the most generous we have seen in a group practice and is based on the number of clients that you see. This sliding scale reflects that there are real costs that we cover as a practice each month, and it is important that we receive at minimum the revenue needed to cover those costs.
At Crossing Wellness you will be a W2 employee. This means that there are substantial monthly taxes paid by the business on your behalf, our payroll is run through ADP, one of the largest national payroll companies.
Professional liability insurance
Cyber liability insurance
Electronic Medical Record (we use Simple Practice)
Weekly peer supervision (if you are LSW or LAC, we can offer individual supervision for licensure)
Sick leave
An attorney on retainer for questions and support
Mirah a tool to helps us provide measurement-based care and supports collaboration with our clients towards their goals
A shared office to see clients in person
We will not push you to increase your caseload, work nights, or cover weekends. The sliding scale below reflects the split between your revenue and that which is allocated to the practice. We do require a minimum of 10 clients a week so that we can cover the cost of maintaining you as an employee, with such a small number of clients, the split for 10 clients per week is 50/50 %.
If you see 11-15 clients per week the split is 60(to you)/40, and if you see 20+ clients a week, the split is 65 (to you)/35.
If you are a LSW or LAC, the split remains 50/50 until licensure to cover the costs of individual supervision each week, and the time and attention we offer in reviewing and providing feedback on EMR for all clients.
We welcome and value you, too often pre-licensed clinicians 'pay their dues' with unfair pay in group practices, only to leave as soon as they are able. We strive to be a home for you from day one.
