Sheronda Howard

LPC, NCC

How you feel is valid, your story matters, and you deserve to be heard.  It can be hard to listen to that healthy voice inside of you that desires guidance and support. I want to take a moment to acknowledge your bravery for taking the first step in your journey.

I am a licensed associate counselor (LAC) who specializes in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress management, communication, and parenting. For the past 10 years I’ve had the pleasure of working with diverse clients with various cultural backgrounds, both in community agencies, and in schools.

It can be challenging to navigate through the transitions of adolescence into adulthood where social, emotional, biological and psychological changes are vibrant. Therapy can provide you not only support during these times but also education and tools to help you succeed. My experience has taught me that we as individuals benefit from guidance and assistance in an unconfirmed setting which is why I am thrilled to transition to the private sector and provide more sustained support to our youth and families.

I have a warm, nonjudgmental, and transparent approach with a splash of humor. I meet you here with compassionate curiosity, empowerment, and a safe place to authentically be your true self.  Each session is tailored to your needs through creativity, collaboration and adaptability as we navigate YOUR journey TOGETHER!
